It was all pomp and ceremony as the Canadian-based University; Hopelife Institute in collaboration with Uwem Ministries International, Uyo, graduated a total of fifty (50) Ministers, who enrolled in Ministry Leadership training.

The graduands were awarded certificates in accordance with their course of study which included: Holy Spirit ministration, moral leadership, loyalty and ethics in Ministry.

Others were: Re-introduction of the visionary and missionary spirit of early Christian communites, enhancing spiritual and physical health among others.

The graduation ceremony took took place on Saturday at the Uwem Ministries International auditorium, 101 New Stadium Road, off Nung Oku Junction, Uyo. It had the presence of eminent personalities, clergymen, Scholars and the President, Hopelife Institute, Canada; Apostle Uwem Akpan.

Congratulating the graduands, Apostle Akpan, noted that the graduating students had completed their coursework and satisfied the requirements for certification as graduates.

She urged them to live a life of uncompromising character, embrace holiness and have an unwavering commitment towards the work of the kingdom.

Apostle Uwem Akpan advised the graduating students not to grow weary in being the ambassadors of Christ, adding that they were privileged to be among those that were chosen by God.

Enumerating the importance of bearing fruits and winning souls into God’s kingdom, the Canadian-based woman of God said it was paramount for the graduands to bear fruits and be productive anywhere they find themslves, noting that God expects productivity from those He chooses.

A guest lecturer; Elder Idorenyin Mfon, while congratulating the graduands, called for more partnership and support to Uwem Ministries International, Uyo, in the areas of funds, infrastructure, furniture among others, to continually meet the greatest need of the church which involves training of workers in sound doctrine, godliness, and the ability to communicate God’s truth to His people.

Speaking on behalf of other graduands, Minister Ekpedeme Etim Akpan, said the graduating students have been reformed spiritually and physically by the training programme. She described Hopelife Institute, Canada as a place of intense learning.

Highpoint of the occasion was presentation of certificates to a total of fifty graduands.
