Dr. Asukwo Mendie Achibong Esq.
A former Presidential Candidate in the 2019 general elections, Dr. Asukwo Mendie Archibong, Esq., has condemned the bombing of the Catholic Church in Ondo State and the loss of lives in that incident. He has called on the government to do more to protect Nigerians and end the state of insecurity in the country. He has urged the people of Ondo State to remain peaceful and engage in the governance of the country to bring about a safe and secure Nigeria.
The incident was said to have happened at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

It was gathered that the church is behind Olowo of Owo palace.

Many members of the congregation were shot and slaughtered.

One of the videos of the incident obtained by journalists shows that children were also affected.

Efforts to reach the spokesperson for the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, on her mobile line were not successful.

A state of emergency should be declared in south west

At this point we only need the intervention of the *divine*. Humans and their intelligence as to security of lives and properties have failed us. God of Elijah please come down and save your people just as you've been doing. Do not allow us die in the hands of these uncircumcised Philistines. People of reprobate mind and sealed hearts. Show us your kindness and by your mercy deliver us. Make known your mighty deeds that the people will know you as our deliverer. The mighty one of Israel who saves by His power. Amen �
