Igbo Referendum by Timmi: 7:45am On Jun 08, 2022 |
Even though the Nigerian constitution does not allow for referendum, let the Federal Government allow it to see if majority of Igbo people will vote to leave Nigeria. If the Nigerian government won’t allow a referendum, can the South East governors agree and fund an informal referendum to even give us a scientific basis to know if the Igbos want to live as citizens of Biafra, after all, Lagos State, in 2003 or so, conducted its own census independent of the Federal Government. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Re: Igbo Referendum by Timmi: 8:34am On Jun 08, 2022 |
Emergingnation3: If that be the case, then concentration should be in compelling the southeast representatives in both National and state government to conduct a referendum and prove to the rest of Nigerians that Igbos are ready to be independent, for until that is done, everything else will just be noise and will be inconsequential |

Timmi:Says chronic unity beggar..... Thesame National assembly that a motion was moved last year to divide Nigeria by our brave House Rep members, which was outrightly rejected by the Deputy speaker house of Rep from Fulani stock for his caused of unity begging.... We'll get our referendum on international stage, not from your national assembly that filled with chronic unity beggars.. Watch the video below.. Emergingnation3: So it’s the international stage - China, India or who? Will be grant you referendum. Displaced priority and ignorance on the international scale. |
Re: Igbo Referendum by Timmi: 1:50pm On Jun 08, 2022 |
Emergingnation3: That’s what you wish for. Wishful thinking that doesn’t reflect reality. Tell the State Governor to conduct it just as an exercise and see what happens. Lagos did it before by conducting a census though not recognized by the Federal government but at least it gave the State an idea of the population of the State and can then be used as a reference point for the national census data for Lagos State |

Re: Igbo Referendum by onuman: 1:49pm On Nov 21, 2022 |
Timmi: That you are content with Nigeria's Constitution not allowing a referendum says it all about the type of half wit you are. Referendum is the way other countries that practice democracy resolve knotty questions. Arewa soldiers armed with Ak47 rifles supervised a Constitution and imposed it upon you and others in Nigeria. You carry it along like zombie without questions. When Igbo wants to leave Nigeria, it doesn't require referendum. It's not the power of ethnic group or combined ethnic groups in Nigeria that is holding Igbo from restoring Biafra. Igbo must have bought your father's grave site, and that may be reason Igbophobia is draining your energy all over NL posts. |
Re: Igbo Referendum by Timmi: 8:40am On Nov 22, 2022 |
onuman: You just exhibited your inherited lack of sense and comprehension. There is a way to get constitution changed that will allow for referendum. Ask your representatives in the National Assembly to move the motion and start the process but instead of that, your people are fond of liers, propaganda, innuendos and fraud. There is always the right and correct ways to do things but rather your people that are nothing but empty barrel will be making the loudest noise outside of the country at the United Nations and Europe seeking donations and assistance from your colonial masters. Lack of integrity is the major problem of your people. |
Re: Igbo Referendum by onuman: 9:14am On Nov 22, 2022 |
Timmi: Your Arewa master is over represented in the National Assembly. This over representation which Arewa derives from the too many and undue number of states proliferated by Arewa soldiers in Arewa area. In that National Assembly, you want legislators from the east who are few to move a motion for referendum to be included in the Constitution. You don't see that Arewa Reps will shout down the proposal for referendum? You are a nitwit. I can't classify all your tribesmen as nit wits, because I am not a nitwit like you who insult a tribe of more than 50 million people together. |

Re: Igbo Referendum by orisa37: 10:08am On Nov 22, 2022 |
YOU ARE WEEPING FOR NO JUST REASON. IGBOS ARE NIGERIANS. NO COMPLAINTS. THE BIAFRANS FOUGHT NIGERIA FOR SEPARATION AND THEY LOST. THE IGBOS HAVEN'T FOUGHT NIGERIA. BUT NOW, IF THE IGBOS WANT TO LEAVE NIGERIA, THEIR FIVE STATES LEGISLATURES AND GOVERNMENTS SHOULD AGREE TO GO ABOUT THAT IN A PERFECTLY LEGAL MANNER. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. GOD BLESS IGBOLAND. Do you understand that? |
