This is normal in SE. There is no looming epidemic, their immune system and the filth are in balance. They are born into it, then are bathed in it, they eat in it, they play in it.

The day they clean all that up people will begin falling sick because cleanliness is a foreign culture to them.

Rivers state is now a garbage city also. Why are these governors not showing interest in this area. You hardly see refuse dump on major streets in Rivers state during Ameachi tenure. But, now, most of the streets have turned out to be refuse dumps.

No be small thing oo, I stay in Awka and the refuse dumps are filling up the roads.
I wonder if Gov. Soludo has good sanitation plans.
Truthfully, the man is performing woefully at the mean time.

Una go tire. Lagos doesn't have problem of waste disposal? You people don't understand what a movement is. Also, don't forget to tell us that the high rate of insecurity in the East is Obi's fault.

FYI #Sai Buhari was a movement in 2015, and you'd recall that propaganda couldn't stop him. That's where we are again, but for the better this time.

Youths are looking for job... instead of the governor to employ youths to do this to pack and clear up this refuse and clearing and cleaning of the streets/ state..at least it's better than the youths to stay idle, jobless and being involved in illegal activities...at least they will be paid for the job

I am sure you dnt stay in anambra hence your political coloration. Everything is not about politics.

I stay in anambra. Ogidi/nkpor area. What the writer said is true. I am glad this is brought to the limelight. I hope it will force the State govt to act on it. Everything is not about politics.

See deflection.

Igboes never seem to accept fault for anything, always blaming others.

Just own up to this dangerous state of things.
