2023: Group Drums Support For Reps Deputy Minority Whips, Adekoya ‘Attacker’s Re-Election Bid



A pressure group, Attacker Think-Tank Leaders on Wednesday expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for upholding the party’s primary election which produced Rt Hon Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya to represent Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside federal constituency.

The group comprising political leaders and experienced grassroots politicians in the three of Local Government Areas which make up the federal constituency, noted that the massive dividends of democracy being enjoyed in the area earned Hon Adekoya his re-election ticket.

The President of the group, Prince Femi Soyewo JP, who spoke briefly with Gateway Times Nigeria in a phone interview however stressed the need for unalloyed support towards the realisation of Hon Adekoya’s House of Representatives ambition.

According to him, Hon Adekoya’s transformation agenda has been widely felt beyond the federal constituency, stressing the need to back a candidate whose charismatic leadership and kindness has been widely acknowledged even by the opposition party.

Meanwhile, the group said a grand reception in honour of Attacker, as the offcial candidate of the PDP for the forthcoming general elections in the federal constiruency would hold tommorow.

Prince Soyewo also assured that the misunderstanding which arouse from the party primaries would be settled in due cause, stressing further that Hon Adekoya in the spirit of sportsmanship had promised to accommodate all the aspirants who contested the election.

“If I should quote our highly referred Attacker, he had pointed out repeatedly that their are no losers in the party as he sees all the contenders as his brothers,” he said.
