The police officers reportedly attacked the PHED officials after they tried disconnecting the power supply of a bakery they were securing in the Cross River state capital, after its owner said to be a politician allegedly failed to pay his bills .

You guys should stop deceiving us. Nigeria's power problem is mostly financial.....the tarrifs charged for power are below its cost of production, and this means that the sector runs at a loss, and thus cannot pay for improvements.

Then 30-40% of Nigerians do not pay for the power they use, and a good number are meter holders...yes meter holders, who bypass their meters.

Unless Obi has a plan that includes allowing DISCOS and GENCOS to set their prices so that they can make a profit....and also has a plan to ensure that people who steal electricity are prosecuted to the full ambit of the law.....he would just be like Buhari and the rest on power. All talk, no action.
