I won't blame the cat fish farmers...my friend and I owned two ponds in Akure while still in School (FUTA)...FISH feeds are now more expensive than before and that is the major reason for the price inflation...imagine you go market to buy 3mm feeds that u used to buy for #5000 now #9000 and even before u go see the feeds eeen... sometimes we would have to drive around from Roadblock to Ilesa garage to Oja Oba before we go see am buy...fuel cost/ transportation cost...to make it worse, na credit dem go still buy am...as I am typing this...my friend and I are still owned about #278,000 from the customers and u no fit arrest dem...na police go dey beg u to calm down make dem hustle for ur money...Omo na so we quit ooo...the situation in this country can kill one's Dream if u are not financially stable 2 Likes |

PrinceMajestic:I sometimes buy from fish farms closer to my home, but the stress is triple mehn, person ft fall inside pond, sunfly bites, the hassling and shouting from market women, chances of dirt in your clothes, time wastage lolz So if you sum those hazards I mentioned e better make you buy directly from the market vendors. |

ahnie:there's no single hazard associated with buying from fish farms. Maybe the fish farms you have been to are earthing ponds and not concrete ponds, sunfly has no business with concrete ponds sealed with galvernised wire meshes or woven wires. You people's problem is failure to patronize Agriculturists, you end up with fierce market women who buy them cheap from us. There's no single stress buying from the farms direct all you need do is wait and they're caught for you, scaled in your presence according to the kg you ask for. By next year you'll be buying them more expensive from market women because CAFFAN is increasing kg prices across all states and market women will pay more than 1300, 1400 for a k.g since feed stuffs prices won't come down |
