Lucky you. Every thing is expensive here in the East. A Cup of Rice is #500, a Cup of Beans is #480. One Maggie is #20. Everything is just too expensive.

500 doesn't have value here, cause you can't buy any meaningful thing with 500. HUNGER too much here. It's unfortunate that, media are not reporting the pains People are going through here.

Lol, come to Delta you won't buy like that. There are no catfish farmers in south east. Here we sell 1300-1400 per k.g but that fish I'm seeing there is not up to one k.g, at Least 3 of that size should give you 1 k.g so in Delta you could get 3 of that size for #3700 or #3900 depen. Sorry mehn, next time come to Delta to buy catfish or buy fishes from farms where they sell in kilograms. Or better still buy from CAFAN direct, I'm sure there's CAFAN in that state

You're even lucky you saw the size of the fish before you paid for it.

Worst is grilled fish (barbeque)where I buy from,they would use like 4 foil paper to wrap the fish for it to appear big in your eyes for 3k.

When you get home and unwrap it...you go see say na very small chikini fish.

3k BBQ. Dem tried for una, 2.5kg of catfish goes for ₦8500 though it comes up with potatoes chips, sliced cucumber,fried plantain, and other stuff

In asaba places I patronise akpu junction and government house they don't add cucumber and fried plantains.its only chips and salad.

But at interbau junction there's a spot called artorias I heard they make one of the meanest barbeque grilled fish....I go checkam out soonest when I crave grilled fish again.

Ok! Give it a try, grilled fish tasted good and its retained all the fish nutrients. Do not go for 3k bbq anymore, medium and big packs goes for ₦5500- ₦8500 respectively!

Enugu na desert compared to ph na......so u wont expect fish to b cheap over there. Common portable drinking water na wahala for Enugu

Last year 1kg was N1000 here, but now it's N1800.

I sometimes buy from fish farms closer to my home,but the stress is triple mehn, person ft fall inside pond,sunfly bites,the hassling and shouting from market women, � chances of dirt in your clothes,time wastage lolz
So if you sum those hazards I mentioned e better make you buy directly from the market vendors.
