While on a private coverage of Ekiti state election, I saw poverty face to face. There was a remark in yoruba credited to Tinubu during one of the APC's Ekiti state governorship campaigns to the Ekitians that if you do not vote APC, you will go home empty handed. Ofcourse we all saw how it ended, he bought the governorship for APC, He bought the presidential candidacy and he will continue buying his way through until the youths buy sense. The Tinubus and Atikus will continue to sustain poverty to continue buying their ways through. My question to the majority of Yoruba youths supporting Tinubu. What are you expecting from a Tinubu presidency. May be some of these youths have been enlisted in 30k sustainable poverty alleviation programme or promised to be enlisted because thats the most these old men can do. They continue to mortgage your future until you are too frail to do anything reasonable with your lives. His presidency will take us to another eight good years, we ve waisted eight years already on a disaster foisted on us by Tinubu. If you were enlisted or promised, how far do you think that pittance can take you because they are ever gonna come up with a new inflationary wave that will drown that 30k monthly stipend. Or are you waiting and hoping for your old frail mothers to lead the change for the survival of this country.
Enough of the tribalism, divide and rule, brainwashing, subjugation. Time to take our rightful place as the Nigerian youths and align with who will take this country out of the mess it has become. Our aged frail parents are looking up to us to see a little future with this country before they finally depart. The innocent prisoners who have spent years and decades in prison for a crime they know nothing about but because of a failed system they are incarcerated and the list goes on and on. Nigeria is in dire need of rescue and the time to do that is now.

God blessed Igbos and Yorubas with enough intelligence and wisdom to think freely and not caged by one old man. The biggest anxiety of these old politician is the day Igbo and Yoruba youths would speak with one voice

So, who is the saviour? If Ex-Governors like Peter Obi , Theodore Orji and co had raised people out of poverty in their states, Lagos won't be over crowded and development would have gone round.

The real change cannot start with an Ex-Governor whose state is being abandoned by many youths for opportunities in Lagos, Abuja etc. True Change can only begin with a man of proven competence and exceptional track records. Anything less will be self deceit and punishment..
