Breaking News!!! Ijaw Creates Central Dialect For The Tribe!!! by Thoh(m): 6:34pm On Jun 16, 2022
THE IJAW CENTRAL DIALECT AS BEING DONE BY THE LOVERS OF IJAW NATION ORGANIZATION (LINO)

The Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization is an Organization created to see to it that the Ijaw Nation is always United, Organized and Balanced in all aspects and at all times.

Its an Organization working in different ways to see to the full justice for Ijaw in all ways including the Ijaw Republic.
The Ijaw Nation is bigger than the 51st smallest countries in the world including Isreal.

INC is for elders alone IYC is for youths, LINO is an organization that give both youths and elders an opportunity to work in one organization to see to the moving forward of Ijaw.

Youths have more of physical strengths than elders but elders have more of wisdom than youths.
With the collaboration of the two, great things will be done for Ijaw.

LINO hope to be under INC one day, after it has fully worked on the Ijaw Republic among so many other things the organization is doing for the Ijaw Nation and its fully achieved.

So many things are being worked upon by the LINO of which includes

1. THE CENTRAL DIALECT:

The Central Dialect will be done through the majority clan speakers of each word thereby given the Ijaws opportunity to create a balanced movie industry, music industry and language teaching sector all over the Ijaw Nation thereby bringing unity to Ijaw like never before.

2. THE IJAW PROTECTION FRONT (IPF).

Its an Ijaw socio-cultural security being worked upon by the LINO to see to it that the 3 Zones of Ijaw, (Western, Central, Eastern), the 86 Clans of Ijaw and the 1586 villages and settlements of Ijaw are well secured of the great insecurity in Nigeria as we speak.

3. THE IJAW TRADITIONAL RULERS COUNCIL

Its another project being worked upon by the LINO to see to it that the Ijaw Nation have a very strong Ijaw Traditional Rulers Council comprising of First Class Kings (for the 86 Clan Heads), Second Class Kings( for the 300 bigger communities) and Third Class Kings(For the 1,200 Literal Communities), it will also bring more unity to Ijaw.

So much projects are being worked upon by the LINO and all cannot be said in one write up because they are too numerous to mention all.

The one we will be speaking of here, and will be informing Ijaw on how it is being worked upon is the Central Dialect.

We have 86 Clans fully recognized under the Apex Ijaw Socio-cultural Organization, the Ijaw National Congress INC today.

The central dialect is being created through the majority Clan speakers of each word out of the 86 Clans.
And languages are shared into families.

Ijaw, Yoruba and Igbo are shared into the Niger-Congo family.

Ibibio, Efik and Central African languages are shared into the Bantu family of languages.

Hausa, Kanuri are of the Chadian family of language.

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French etc are of the Celtic family of language.

Italian Greek and to a great level Polish among others are of the Baltic family of language.

These families are divided according to the speech pattern as being calculated by linguists.

Since we are working on majority clan speakers of each word we need to divide the 86 clans into families so as for us to know the majority clan speakers of each word.

We've divided it into these families.
The Ijo dialects have been divided into these families according to the way each clan speaks their different dialect of Ijaw.

1.THE IZONIC FAMILY

2.THE OBOLOIC FAMILY

3.THE NEMBEIC FAMILY

4.THE DEGEMAIC FAMILY

The families are based on how they speak their different dialects of Ijaw.

The number of clans out of the 86 that make up each family will now be written out.
THE NEMBEIC FAMILY.

It has these Clans out of the 86

1.Bassambiri 2.Ogbolomabiri
3.Tereke
4.Okoroma
5.Oluasiri
6.Abureni
7.Okpoama
8.Brass
9.Kalabari
10.Tombia
11.Bille
12.Ke
13.Akassa
14.Ibaka
15.Ogu
16.Okrika
17.Abuloma
18.Ogoloma
19.Bolo
20.Bonny
21.Opobo
22.Nkoro.

Total is 22.

THE DEGEMAIC FAMILY:

It has these Clans out of the 86.

1. Degema
2. Epie
3. Engenni
4. Zarama
5.Atissa

THE OBOLOIC FAMILY

It has these Clans out of the 86.

1. Ataba
2. Unyeada
3. Ngo
4. Asarama
5. Ibeno
6. Abua
7. Eastern Obolo
8. Odual
9. Kugbo
10. Anyama(Ogbia)
11.Agholo
12 Oloibiri.

12 in number.

THE IZONIC FAMILY

It has the 24 Clans of the Western Zone, The 8 Clans of Nigeria's Southern Ijaw.
4 Clans out of the Nigeria's Yenagoa area(Okordia, Biseni, Gbarain Ekpetiama),
All the Clans in Nigeria's Sagbama, Ekeremor, Kolokuma/Opokuma.

The Izonic family have 24 Clans from Western Zone and 24 Clans from Central Zone.
Making 49 Clans for the Izonic family out of the 86.
The 86 dialects of Ijaw are now divided into these groups according to their speech patterns and according to their different dialects of Ijaw.

1.Nembeic Family 22

2. Degemaic Family 5

3. Oboloic Family 12

4. Izonic Family 48.

The Central dialect will be created Izonically.
In creating a central dialect these things are put into calculation.
1.Primary
2.Secondary
3.Tertiary
4.Post Tertiary stages of the language.

Language is actually a thing of parts of speech from noun to interjection and not more .

The Primary is the most used words compulsorily everyday
E.g Me, You, Good morning, Good Afternoon etc.

The Secondary is the used words everyday but not that compulsory.
For example : Love.

The Tertiary are things that are in a language but Is not used every time.
For example :Corpse.

Post Tertiary are things that are not in Ijaw but for it to be teachable it needs to be added into the language
For Example: Pawpaw.

Since the language will be created Izonically we will work on the primary ones to a level that we can discuss little with it then we go into
secondary one.

Among the 48 Izonic Clans 5 use "Aare" for "Me" and "You" the rest 43 use Emene.
The 5 that use Aare are Kolokuma, Opokuma, Gbarain, Ekpetiama and Biseni.

Majority of the Izonic Clans call God Woyengi or Tamara meaning our mother but because most Ijaws believe God is more of male like and Eastern Ijaw use the word Tamuno it can stand for either male or female the central dialect God main name is Tamuno.
Most Izonic Clans either call Love Tare or Tari but since majority call God Tare.
It becomes the central dialect own.
All Izonic Clans call Good Ebi so Ebi stand for good.

Most Izonic Clans greet Seridei for morning and all Izonic Clans say Nua and Doh during afternoon and evening.
It becomes the main one.
Greeting elderly, majority Izonic Clans say Koide

These are the ones we've settled.
1.God === Tamuno

2.Me/You=== Emene depending on the usual pronunciations.

3. Love=== Tare

4.Good=== Ebi

5. Good Morning=== Seridei

6.Good Afternoon/Evening === Doh/Nua

7.Greeting Elders=== Koide

8. Man=== Owei

9. Woman=== Ere

10. House ==== Ware

11.Relative==== Bina

12. Pray==== Teh

Those in the group can start using these words because its how the central dialect will be.
More will be added every now and then after viewing the majority Izonic Clan speakers of each words.

For Example if a person want to say I love you in Kolokuma, it is Aare e Tari-nimi

But Since Emene has taken over the "Me place, and Tare is more of majority it will be Emene e Tare Mene.

The suffix "Mene" will be the used one not "Nimi" as used by Kolokuma.

That means Ebinimi in Kolokuma becomes Ebimene in the central dialect.

More words will be added every now and then according to the majority clan speakers.
And when completed it will be on an App and it will be shared Ijaw Nation Wide.

A person can read, write and even interpret a new language in a period of three months if steadily learned.
Nevertheless over average Ijaw will be familiar with it because its majority clan speakers of each word that we use in creating this new dialect that becomes central.

We are moving forward.
With our Joint efforts we get the best Ijaw Nation.

One Tribe
One Ancestor
One Ijaw.

President, Lovers of Ijaw Nation Organization (LINO).
