The Ebonyi state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Uchenna Orji has said that Governor David Umahi would soon disclose his next political step after a failed bid at the country's presidency.

Orji made the disclosure in Abakaliki while reacting to reports that Umahi has substituted his younger brother Austin, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ebonyi south senatorial zone election.

The commissioner said that people should be patient to "hear from the mouth of the horse".

"I am neither the political party not the candidate as the horse will soon speak.

"You will then hear an unfettered declaration in that regard.

He remarked that there were several positives to take from the outcome of the APC presidential primary though it did not favour the governor.

"We might not had won the battle but would win the war in due course.

"We might had lost during the primary but we won as victory belongs to God.

The simple truth is that some of the political heavyweights in this country are already living on a borrowed time. Their political relivance is gradually coming to a sure end. Only the right and wise decision can help them out at this critical time.
