My mason sent a quotation of 80 bags of cement, 5 trips of stone and 5 trips of sand for 6 inch thickness paving work on a 50ft x 60ft piece of land. Please can the experts in the house help to look at this to see if it is feasible. Thanks |

If you buy vibrated paving stone (obviously more durability, strength and longevity), you'd need about 280sqm for that land area.. which totals to around 1.4 million plus delivery. If you give this work to your mason, his total charges (he has not added labour from what you've mentioned so far) will total 1,560,000 and the stones he's producing for you are not vibrated which is to your own disadvantage. Choose vibrated paved stones (which I can deliver for you), choose wisely. 1 Like

I am not using paving stone, only concrete work on the piece of land. |
