I remember asking my Dad why he didn't join politics in 1999 when it was relatively easier. He said it has never been easy. That the rate of political assassinations was really on the high side at the time compared to now.

The man said I should go and join now so my son won't ask me in the future why I didn't join earlier.

Politics has actually gotten better in Nigeria compared to the days of PDP

Between 1999 and 2007 the number of high profile politicians assassinated cannot be compared to the last 8yrs.

In that time Bola Ige, Harry Marshals, Dikibo, Funsho Williams, Barnabas Igwe, Dipo Dina and no one was arrested or convicted
