This is why I hate polls(including the ones that randomly call people from voters register).

Less than 17 percent turnout. Polls will not work accurately in Nigeria for the next 8 years(I may be wrong).

I kept mentioning how unique our elections are last year. Low turnout. Voting on particular lines

Yes. Overconfidence is the main issue. I think I saw Gawat talking about it also on twitter before. Alot of voters were already confident he will win and didnt bother coming out.

I'll be surprised if total votes in Lagos reach 2.5m

It will be good to consider the Naija currupt factors like delay of the arrival of election materials. Possible threats that might send some voters home.

Most of the PUs where election materials were delivered late and places where bullying took place like the ones posted on twitter, will definitely have low number of voters.

After the 2016 us elections, I stopped taking polls seriously. You can jigger them anyhow you want. Even more so when you are tech savvy and have the answer you are looking for.
