There was a time I wanted to induce myself into experiencing this. 😭😭

I read and read and read, and I chose a day to practice all I've been reading so finally in the night, my brain with carry on with the exercise and make me lucid dream. But omo, my liver failed me. 😂

I was scared of going mad because one of the recommendations was that you should constantly question whether you were dreaming or awake in the real world, all through the day. Every minute. Question the realness of what you're doing or holding.

I did it for a few seconds, and some things recommended before I chickened out. I feared that I'll forever not be able to differentiate between real life and dream world anymore. 🤣

I only "enjoy" lucid dreaming when it happens on its own. It's one of the best feelings ever 😃. Having "superpowers" in my dream that I'm able control? Nah, nothing compares.
Interesting. As humans, our physical reality is influenced greatly by happenings and events in the dream world (our inner world).

You'll find it easier to engage in lucid dreaming if your symmetrical partner at the other side (the non-physical realm, also called the spiritual realm in the cultural/religious context) wants you to have such a gift.

All the gifts we, humans, have and everything we do here are determined by that partner, which the Yoruba people call "ori" (inner head) in Ifa spirituality or "chi" in the Igbo culture.

It actually exists, and there are specific mathematical formulations underlying it in Consciousness Science based on Abstract Algebra and related areas.

So, it's always advisable for one to know oneself deeply (i.e., know your symmetrical partner, "ori" or "chi" ) via regular meditations so as to discover your gifts and how to make the best use of them to achieve greatness in the physical realm.

Also, it's good to find the most suitable way to meditate and connect with the inner self (the symmetrical partner) yourself, instead of adhering to a specific method discovered by others dogmatically in any religion or group.

Oyo state, Ibadan precisely. It wasn't 680 before, Bovas dey sell for 620, I believe NNPC will be lesser and 'em others like sao, total, gastab also sells around 630 na others dey sell 650 be4. I've been noticing unusual queues since last week @ nnpc but its worse now as most filling are shut

Lol... these "spiritual" exercises...I'm as lazy to carry them out for real as I am as lazy about most things. So I cannot verify for myself if they are true or not. I only just feel drawn to them because it's mentally stimulating to *learn* about. And gathering a pile of knowledge I may never make use of (except in fiction-writing sha, so I guess they are not completely useless). I like to read about stuff like that mostly on an intellectual level. (I was once obsessed with finding the infamous The Book of Moses and the legend about it that abounded. grin

On one hand, I did not believe anything's going to happen to me if I read it. Simply read it. I was not going to try to use it as some ritual to summon a "demon" ).

Sometimes I can't help but feel like I could have been deeply involved in Yoruba traditional religion if the circumstances of my birth/the trajectory of my life had been different (I love Osun songs- maybe it's just their melodic quality). But I found Christianity (first. And by design, perhaps) and I'm comfortable with that because the very basic requirement for being an adherent is a belief in Jesus. And maybe baptism. Every other thing else that you can attempt spiritually as a Christian would depend on your growth level/depth. I'd take reading and pondering on a couple of passages a day over some meditational exercise I have to be *wholly* prepared for.

The only time I ever 'experienced' some inner 'alter ego', I did it as a writing exercise for my writer's block lmao. Now whether my brain completely tricked me into thinking I was legitly talking to another me, or it's real, it sha worked.

But I still really really believe a lot of these experiences are handiwork of the brain- all in the field of neuroscience as mentioned above. Trance, visions, soul ties (there's a "flame" from my past that I seem to communicate with in my mind, but I still can't put it past my brain just conjuring and making up things on my behalf because I want it to be so, and because it knows that I was obsessed with this person). So I do believe in otherworldly experiences, only that they are very rare and exceptional. The rest, it's the brain and its consciousness.

Reminiscent of the storming of the Bastille. Not quite like it, but perhaps a sub- action under it. Truly beautiful, and a once-in-a-blue-moon reminded of power truly residing with the people. Like corporations are, because the masses are. Now I'm really invested in this boycott, and want to see it to the end. Sees how smoothly Starbucks will sail through. Will make for an interesting political/economic analysis in the future.

Okay, I do research work in Physics, Mathematics, and Consciousness Science. I regard it as my life's work, a sort of calling based on some personal experiences (such as lucid dreaming and the likes) I had years ago while in the university and before then.

Those experiences are what serve as a source of motivation for engaging in science in these areas.

So, I've a penchant for collecting and reading old books of history, philosophy, and science.

However, I've not read the Book of Moses, even though I've heard so much about it.

As an African, characters such as Moses, Jesus Christ, and the likes have toxic, destructive energy.

It's always advisable to adopt a science-based approach to one's spirituality. However, most people will find it hard because of the level of thinking and meditation required to do this.

About the verification aspect, it requires engaging in reflection in the wakeful state and making some research on experiences or information one got from the dream world.

The dream world is highly subjective, but it has objective aspects as well.

In spite of its highly subjective nature, people have got powerful, revolutionary ideas from the dream world. Most world's languages, a number of technologies, mathematical languages (formulas and equations), and others came to people via dreams.

So, it's beneficial to always pay keen attention to one's dreams.

Okay. Those are your preferences. Certain songs can help some people meditate deeper. Some of them can also have healing effects when a person is ill.

It's all a matter of personal taste and style.

There is no single universal method that works for everyone when it comes meditation.

You just might inspire me again to start keeping a 'dream book'. 🥲

There are many a dream I've had that are just so out of this world that I know would be great works of literature if I built on them, but I can't recall them anymore. The ideas, totally lost.

I remember one I had seeing myself in 'prehistoric' Egypt and there were pyramids all around me. 🤣

Somewhere I've never been in my life o.

Some are always so fantastic, bizarre and 'sonic-like'. Imagine if you take the multicolored setting of a club and you multiply it a thousand times. It's a sensory titanic.

Waiiit. What research work still need to be done in Mathematics? 😭

I mean, doesn't it already have some set of fixed equations and rules? You mean, you're still adding the pre-existing mathematical formulas there are?

I can imagine kids in 3044 being mad at you for developing some complex calculation techniques now the way we used to be mad at the founders of the ones we learnt in school. 😂

Those dreams might be due to books you've read or movies you've seen, which the brain was replaying for you while asleep. But the dreams might also be due to other factors.

It's not humanly possible to remember all the dreams one has. But personally, I always keep a diary that serves as a dream journal to avoid forgetting key information or ideas I got in dreams.

For some people, even while asleep, the brain often continues to work on activities they were doing in the wakeful state. So, that's why keeping a dream journal is important.

I work mostly on Mathematical Physics and Mathematical Consciousness Science using Abstract Algebra.

There are actually many number systems yet to be discovered/developed by humans. I believe more number systems will be discovered/developed by scientists in the coming years.

Those beings people worship as gods and goddesses know a lot of (advanced) numbers. Actually, if you know numbers a lot, you can discover a lot of mysteries about the Universe.

So you finally realised that chi is not god in Igbo?

Your next assignment is to find out who Chukwu is.

Let me give expo. Chukwu is actually misspelt. The correct spelling is Chi-Ukwu. Ukwu means to be big, mighty, universal, general, major etc

Where did I tell you that chi is god? Is everything okay with you?

And which silly assignment? Ignorance is your problem. Deep ignorance.

You don't know the origin of those Igbo words and you don't know you don't know. I'm not here to engage in silly arguments.

As I said before, whether it's Chukwu, Olorun, or any other gods of any culture/religion, they were all past humans (the first beings that claimed the title of Supreme God in the Old Worlds in their respective cultures).

When you've enough intelligence to differentiate between Olorun, Chukwu/Chineke, Yahweh, and Allah, you'd understand this simple fact.

For now, you can keep regarding all of them as the same. This is simply due to low IQ.

If the new tarriff is a rip off (which it is), then people should disconnect themselves from the Discos.

I will pay 14 million for less than 24 hours monthly, and then I will now pay 40 million for the same?

40,000,000÷1500 = 26,000 litres
26,000÷30 = 800 litres per day

Isn't this better than 40 million of nothing?

And Nigerians are the biggest losers. We were supposed to have hit the streets back then, demanding for prepaid meters 100%, but some people thought they were smart by using more appliances on estimated billings.

Discos were not supposed to collect 1 naira on estimated billings, but ensure everybody has the prepaid meters.

I really feel for people on Estimated billings..Na Pepper and Atarodo una go see.

I saw a friend's status yesterday night lamenting how he paid he got 20.6 units after recharging 5k on his prepaid . Imagine , how many days that one wan take last ?

That means with 20k he will only get less than 83 units . Imagine what that will do to businesses ....

Later people will be asking why is the dollar rate going down and price of commodities not coming down. A barber's operating cost will increase , a welder's operating cost will increase , those selling cold drinks will have an increase in their operating cost, even the woman that grinds pepper u eat at home will have to Jack up her price to pay electricity bill and breakeven.

When Tinubu said "Let the poor breath ", I think that statement was a sarcasm. Tinubu probably believes vast majority of Nigerians are rich or maybe living above average . That's the only explanation for this continued strangling hold on the people's throat with all these anti-people policies

Politics is not governance in a normal setting but Nigeria isn't anywhere close to normal. One can hardly seperate the both in Nigeria going by the decisions we see politicians make everyday. One is directly responsible for the other, the governance we see today is the dividends of Tinubu's politics.

Next month he'll mark one year in office and judging by what we've seen so far, it's dashed hopes instead of renewed hope. Moi-moi wey go sweet, na as you dey grind the beans you go know.

It is the Estimated billing customers that they plan to chop anyhow with this nonsense.

They already have a generating set.

Is there any hotel, bank, mall, that Disco is providing power 24/7?

Let them channel their 40 million into their standby generator, than paying Disco, and still budgeting for that same generator.
