This your land looks like it is sitting illegally on a piece of land outside a genuine land
Read the description, it was a plot of land divided to make road in the estate, hence the size. It is not illegal. All documents are available.

Sorry, about the building you advertised, the side next to the road is bothered directly by the road or the road is a part of the compound? Will like to know and 16m, us that negotiable?
Read the description, it was a plot of land divided to make road in the estate, hence the size. Yes it is close to the road, and as you can see from the pictures there's a foundation demarcation, all you need to do is build your fence.
It is not illegal. All documents are available.
The price is Negotiable.

Okay, let's pay the same kind of fees they pay there then, and spend the same kind of money they spend there then.
How can you pay the fees and the kind of money when there are no quality infrastructures and structures put in place to harness productivity like theirs?

How do you think they got the quality infrastructure and structures in the first place?

Read my comment again and keep that in mind.

What has convenant university produce?

A lot of graduates, and yes, they may overtake the public universites because...funding.

Good structures do not build themselves. They come from things like fees, taxes, and more fees. Not from just one source of money that can't take care of most of the population.

If you want good universities, you have to pay for them. We spend 3 billion dollars out of 25-28 billion on education. We should be spending at least ten to a hundred times that. But any suggestions of raising the money is shut down because 'poor must go to school' Well, with diminishing quality...

Good evening. You want a Toyota at the cost of N1000 . That is not possible.

Please stop lying and decieving the gullible and lazy ones among the Nigerian youths.

This same opportunity to get free education from primary school all the way to university with scholarships and bursary are still available and abundant in this same Nigeria as a country.

It is not anyone's fault or the fault of government if your choice of company, background and mentality embraces quick money and idleness online against the hardwork it requires to access these kinds of opportunities Rotimi just earned.

To turn your life around, change your company of negative minded people, quit the addiction to idleness on social media and face your studies squarely so you will not lament today and in your old age.

BLESS YOU!

In the USA, people do not earn enough money to put their children through college. That's why most Americans take out loans to pay for their children's colleges, and even the kids hustle for things like scholarships and grants over there.(Like Rotimi has done).

And the loans are not free money. Once you get a job, you start paying back the loans. On top of your other expenses. And your children too have the same issue.

(When Obama became president of the USA, one of the first things he did was to open savings account for his 2 daughters and start saving a huge chunk of his salary as president there so that they could go to college stress free. Had he lost, his daughters would have had to take loans like other Americans.)

Some Americans do other things like side hustles, buying life insurance for their children, etc, to pay for their kids education in college.

Even then....I once heard of an American medical doctor with debts of $150000 from medical school alone. That#s par the course.

Most (well over 50% by last count) of US-trained medical doctors have school loans of over six figures…
That’s why Nigerian-trained doctors in the US should realize what a financial GIFT their cheap SUBSIDIZED Nigerian education is.

Can you please provide credible reference for the bold part above. Thanks.

Millions of Americans have a ‘College Fund’ for their kids…
Many start saving when the kids are born - and often that’s still not enough.

The top colleges and graduate schools in the US are well over $50K yearly just for tuition alone.
When you add all the other associated with school (room, board, books, etc.) could be over $75K.

This is not the 18th century, these days it’s possible to have dual (even multiple) nationality.

You think people don't get loan to get through school in Nigeria? Even some federal universities students that pay less than 100k still find it difficult paying their fees as at when due at resort to getting loan and some still hustle for scholarships, when you factor in the economy setting of other countries and Nigeria you will realize Nigeria school isn't really cheaper for Nigerians.

Ad there are lot of students loan and scholarships over there, here it is not the same, it is even not advisable to get a loan to see yourself to college here cause there is no guarantee you will get a job to pay back later.

There used to be students loans in Nigeria during our parents era in the 1970s (possibly up to the 1980s)…
But guess what, hardly anyone (if anyone at all) paid back their students loans, but simply took it as “national cake”!

Nigeria’s condition is merely the culmination of the actions (by commission or omission) of ALL Nigerians!

1.Correction before I respond...my value for 10% was not correct. re primary enrollment (Found the book, called the State of Africa by Meredith, M.).Apologies .

So what is the correct value? Close to 100% for the Western region as at 1960?

2.Even if we are not on cocoa revenue...the fact is Nigeria is not earning enough revenue, and has never earned enough revenue to provide free education.

Countries that provide free educations do so on the back of high incomes from taxation and also have higher GDP's which come from being industrial.

Which both PDP, APC or Obi and many other Nigerian politicans do not promote. Most Nigerians seem to think that if we go back to regions or remove corruption,(which we should), each region would earn enough money to look after its needs. They won't.

I agree with you hence the need for those of us who understand the pivotal role of education to work hard at making everyone around us to equally understand that and modify their expectations of our public office holders accordingly.

Nigeria must industrialise and get beyond just selling raw materials.

I concur fully. Privatisation that Atiku/PDP has a track record of doing is the way forward.
