How will Peter Obi tackle insecurity in the north where there is Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, banditry, kidnapping and other northern forces that will spring up during his reign? Without been accused of ethnic cleansing and genocide, hope he not thinking solving economy challenges will automatically remove political challenges which brought about IPOB and ESN because of marginalization of Igbos.

Obi can bring in foreign powers to help fight them while he focuses on the curbing the stupendous cost and wastes in governance in Nigeria. It will trickle down to all aspects of society and Nigeria will be ok

Cutting poverty and inequality is the best way to reduce crime, a police chief has said, calling for more money for deprived areas to thwart criminals’ attempts to recruit those left desperate by deprivation.

The former chief constable of Merseyside police, Andy Cooke, said: ‘The best crime prevention is increased opportunity and reduced poverty.’

“Why do people get involved in crime and serious crime? It’s because the opportunities to make money elsewhere aren’t there for them. And never more so than in our inner cities and in our more difficult to police areas.

“We need to reduce that deprivation and the scale of deprivation that we see in some of our communities, because if you give people a viable alternative, not all but a lot will take it.”

Peter Obi has a working plan to pull millions of people out of poverty. The crime rate will not reduce overnight.

Crime grew exponentially due to the extremely high rate of poverty. In a land of wealth, we will see a lot of crime roll back.

The terror cells are weaponized through poverty. With the surplus, we will see the demilitarization of the regions.

It will not happen overnight, but we will see it reduce drastically as the years go by.

VOTE PETER OBI FOR PRESIDENT.

Listen to his interviews. He always talks about the two most important type of security every society must have: physical and indirect (can't remember the right names).

Physical is that you strip those useless VIPs of their mopol escorts and send the police to fight crime and protect society like they're paid for not carrying bag for criminals.


Secondly indirect which is the most important is that you fight poverty and illiteracy. This way nobody will be interested or will be venerable enough to be lured to crime with food or money. Then you actually send repentant Boko Haram members to a facility in Mali, Niger or Egypt where they learn skills for 2 years and come back with handwork to earn a living.

Not like Buhari that will arrest Boko Haram terrorist and release them in that same place with no handwork or capital after 2 months. The same folks will link up with their brothers asap and start fighting you again.

Ethnic cleaning of terrorists and bandits? Whoever wants to come associate with the terrorists can then step out during that time and speak on why they should not be fished out, that will be the first sponsor.
Tackling insecurity in Nigeria isn’t too hard,just catch the sponsors and them comb the forests and their dwelling places,you need advanced weapons and international assistance too, na this kind thing US de like jump into. You aren’t fighting just biko haram, there is isis and iswap in Nigeria.
We will all be shocked the day their sponsors are made public, the army is aware of all these…
