#Leaders_of_Tomorrow...

(An open letter to the Political Leaders in Nigeria)

So many questions in my mind to ask our Political Leaders.

Yesterday, you called all the Youths together and said, "You are the Leaders of Tomorrow...so get prepared, okay!" So, the Youths then, were very happy and hoping for Tomorrow!

But today, those Youths of Yesterday have become adults. Some of them have even become grandpas/mas. But, you Leaders of Yesterday are still the ones ruling the country Today. Why?

Many graduates who are supposed to be in the corridor of power are busy riding "Okada". Still, you wake up every day to make life miserable for them. Why?

So many potential Presidents, Governors, Medical Doctors, Administrators, Engineers, Professors are denied education due to your skyrocketing school fees in the Country. And where, what and who are they today? They are bike-men, they are factory workers struggling to make ends meet! And if not for FREE EDUCATION which you enjoyed during your time, did you think you could become somebody today?

You send your children to school abroad. You spoil them with looted money! After sometime, they come back home to become Governors, Reps, Senators. You make tickets unaffordable for the poor to purchase. Why?

But remember, our great grandparents were also involved in the colonial slavery!

They donated their sweat, blood and lives in order to gain independence for their children.

After independence, you turn Nigeria into Table Tennis. You rotate the seat of Power and make life difficult for the masses.

You shed innocent blood to get to power. And you don't even deem it devilish! Why?

We voted for you to represent and manage our funds. But when you got there, we become your foot mats. What have we done to deserve this

You have killed the cows that produce milk and smashed the bees that provide honey in the land.

Eating 3-square meals has become 'once upon a time' in the country.

The poor are tormented every minute. Your 'boys' open fire on the masses without any second thought. And the only thing you do is to send your pre-typed condolence letter to the families of the victims...you are a failure!

Do you know the number of Nigerians that have lost their lives to insurgencies in some years back?

Kidnapping has become a normal business in the country. Ritualistic everywhere.

The security is ZERO!
Economy, ZERO!
Education, ZERO!
Health, ZERO!
Transportation, ZERO!
Power Supply, ZERO!
Water Supply, ZERO!
Everything ZERO!!!

No job for the youth, no provision for their future!

Our parents who toiled all their lives so that they could see their children becoming GREAT in life are already in their GRAVES.

Now, the time has come when THE OWNER OF THE UNIVERSE will avenge for the masses because their cries has gotten into HIS hearing!

Alas, your ill-gotten wealth cannot save you from the wrath of God! And none of your children shall live to inherit your wealth!

My advice to the Youth:

* Go and get your PVC (Permanent Voter's Card)
* Never sell your VOTE
* Don't join the Political Bad Boys
* Let's be united because of our posterity.
* Let us be PRAYERFUL.
