Why are politicians willing to throw away billions of naira before and during elections? why is the presidential form sold for 100million? How come politicians are willing to offer you any amount of money to get you to vote for them? Have you ever wondered were this money comes from?
why is electoral campaign a political investment?

You're shooting yourself in the foot if you sell your vote. Politicians are willing to pay for votes because they intend to recoup the money via embezlement.

They siphon money ment for electricity, transportation, education, etc making you pay more for fuel, transport fare and leaving you with depleting standard of education.

The embezzled fund is used to get quality education, medical care for their children who are abroad and more is stashed away for vote buying in the next election, a win win situation for them.

Vote for the candidate you believe in. Selling your vote means buying a lifetime of suffering with a couple of change that wouldn't last you a week.
