This statement/ reason may not hold water. Kidney donation is more complex than blood donation. It is not what you can bring anyone irrespective of age, weight, etc.
Secondly, the man and wife knew clearly that the transplant would be carried out in a lawful country by professionals who are guided by ethics. Would the doctors conspire with him or would he manipulate them to harvest and transplant without the due government protocols?
