Nigeria football league has been in mess for a very long time. I have witnessed something similar in Ibadan in those days, when a visiting team was leading 3SC in those years and referee added about 17 minutes for them to equalise and immediately the did, he blew the final whistle.
Although, the fans shouted at the referee to blow the final whistle so that they can pounce on the 3SC players for playing bad but he refuse to do so. This is contrary to what is happening in the north where away side players and officials will be beaten for beaten their team.
