By Obio Monday A former Dean, Faculty of Arts, Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria, Prof. Duro Adegboye has been kidnapped. GRASSROOT REPORTERS gathered that Prof. Adegboye who is a missionary at Anglican Church of Nigeria, Diocese of Offa, Kwara State was kidnapped along Obajana road in Kogi State on his way to Lokoja, on Saturday, June 25th. Sources told GRASSROOT REPORTERS that the kidnappers are demanding for a N100m ransom for his release. His kidnap was confirmed by the Director of Administration, Anglican Diocese of Offa, Reverend Bukola in a WhatsApp message. The sad incident was also confirmed by the Bishop of Offa Diocese, The Rt. Thank you everyone for your prayer and support Prof. Duro Adegboye was released yesterday night from the captive of the kidnappers. We thank God for his faithfulness for not putting the body of Christ into shame. |
