Despite GEJ's loyalty to Yar'adua and the north, he failed woefully to Buhari in the northern region (both 2011 and 2015 elections). It took the intervention of South West voters to get him the first victory. This was someone that proved his loyalty beyond doubts. Our literacy rate has not improved over the years so I don't see or expect any significant change in the voting pattern.
