The Bayelsa State House of Assembly has passed “The Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro and other Heroes Memorial Day Bill 2022”.


The bill which was sponsored by the former Speaker and Member representing Kolga constituency 1, Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah (Ph.D), was passed at plenary today, haven gone through all legislative stages by the State Assembly.


When assent into law by the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, it will spur other Ijaw people to aspire to greatness and by way of rendering selfless services to our land.

Good development. Igbo governors can enact law recognising may 30 as Biafra day in each of SE state.
If some northerner states can have law on Sharia i don't see any reaon why SE stares cannot do the same.
