JOB 15 v 14 - 16

[14] What is man, that he can be pure? Or he who is born of a woman, that he can be righteous?

[15] Behold, God puts no trust in his holy ones, and the heavens are not pure in his sight;

[16] how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks injustice like water!

If God puts no trust in his holy ones and even the heaven is not pure to him, does it mean that no matter what, no human can be holy in God's eyes?

If God puts no trust in his holy ones and even the heaven is not pure to him, does it mean that no matter what, no human can be holy in God's eyes?

Jeremiah 17 vs 5 - You are to Trust and obey God and only God alone. Your are cursed/damned by God if you put your trust in anything but God.

God is God of many Laws, and Holiness is as defined by God's Law. To be "Holy" essentially means one, through continuous submission and obedience of God's teachiings(and commandments) has been proven by God to meet up with the standard set by Him in His Law. So a human who is holy is simply a one made holy by meeting up with just one of God's many Laws/standards to - you can't serve more than one Law at a time. So do not mistake holiness for Godhood.

God does not put His trust in men.

You did see verse 16 are men ever just, beyond abominations and incorruptible?
