Have you decided to take some time off to become a housewife so you can raise your kids before going back to work? Have you halted your career, your studies or a business so you can focus on raising a family first?

It is not uncommon to see women decide to put their personal growth on hold while they tend to their families.

When women make this sacrifice, most have the intention of going back to work, their career or studies. Many set a target of 2 years, 5 , even up to ten years and beyond. They planned to get back.

The reality is, not many of these women went back to work, their careers, businesses or studies.

Never be afraid or ashamed when other see them. It motivates you to achieve them

Set SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Accurate, Realistic and Timely

Be proactive: take consistent little steps towards your goals. These steps will in time result in one big result that you will be proud of.

3. Be in touch with Reality

So much would have changed since you left the workforce, business or studies. Always find out what is new, and stay abreast.
