This damage control no work at all! He meant 50,000 youths? Is that the number that will close the staffing gap across all security agencies? Even the NPF alone has been in the process of recruiting 100,000 new officers and you think 50,000 sounds adequate for all our military outfits? That tells you, you're just trying to minimize an obvious gaffe but still failing woefully at it! Of course, like principal, like subject!

Besides, is feeding the only problem of members of security agencies? If he had adequate intellectual strength, was full control of his faculty/reasoning and assuming, without conceding, that the 50million is a mere senior moment incident, then he would have been discussing more critical issues geared towards enhancing security deployment and services in Nigeria which include adequate training and exposure, transparency, adequate remuneration, top-grade equipment, respect for human rights and re-building the trust between civilians and the security/military forces not just FOOD!

However, because all he knows is subjugation through weaponised poverty, stomach infrastructure and something for the boys like he controls the agberos in Lagos, he can only think of replicating same at national level (God forbid)! As far as he is concerned, once you have agbado, corn, cassava and yam creating demand and consumption then all is well! Even the subject matter is on corruption and nepotism in promotions yet all you saw to quickly defend is food and stomach infrastructure! How sad.

Don't you eat beans?

Understaffed? As in the same security agencies that roll out employment year in year out is understaffed? If it is under equipped, I will gladly agree with you but being understaffed except the NPF I'm not sure any other is understaffed.

Adequate food to feed them with the herdmen sacking the farmers in their farms or which (which over time he have failed to condenn)?

If you claim you are not aware that our security agencies are grossly understaffed, then you must be leaving in a cave. The Nigerian Army is currently deployed in the North East, South East, North West in some states of the North Central on major military operations, while having less than 130,000 personnel.

With the issues affecting farming in Nigeria in present, have you starved or have you been to the market to buy something and it is unavailable? To further boost food production and even export more to other countries, is it not worthwhile to improve on security so that more people can go to farm??

Ortom in Benue that has been condemning since time immemorial, how has it helped him? Not everything is done on the pages of newspapers except if you are looking for cheap publicity. Tinubu doesn't need cheap publicity and he has direct access to the President. So he can convey his wishes, desires and opinions directly to President and get the results he wants.

Abeg rethink your points.
