Was it tinubu/acn or the new PDP group led by amechi? 5 governors from PDP led by amechi joined apc.few months later,saraki and atiku joined.amechi couldn't deliver rivers but HD contributed financially and was DG of Buhari's campaign team.for kano,Buhari has been getting 1.6 million in kano as of when rabiu was in PDP and in 2015,Buhari polled 1.9 mil which is an increase of 300k.buhari polled 600k in sokoto which is around what he has been polling there except PDP couldn't get 25% this time.in Adamawa,he won for the first time against the 30% he got before.he also won kwara compared to the 25% he usually polls.

From 2003 to 2011 Buhari won the core north but never won the sw or got the national spread.tinubu and acn made this possible.tinubu also made the greatest financial contribution.tinubu also helped Buhari to win the primaries.acn also made him to get 25% in Edo... Again,tinubu helped to use the media to package and rebrand him plus gave him a popular rccg pastor which swayed the Christians in north central to vote him...therefore,Buhari could never have won without tinubu but he would still have won without new PDP...
In 2019,majority of the new PDP defected back yoe pdp but Buhari got elected with a bigger margin....

You understimate what it is like to have Kano, Lagos and Rivers States in one Party. Even if you don't get the votes, there are a lot of money to play with. Even those in ACN knows how much Rivers money played in helping the Campaigns.

To run for democratic elections is serious money. Even the US where we copied our own style of democracy from, utilise serious cash in their elections for Campaigns, logistics and so on. Everyone played their roles, Buhari in my estimation, will not have won without either of both.

They all contributed and tried their best, but Tinubu was outstanding because he was able to deliver the southwest votes for Buhari.. Other states have always been won by Buhari in times past.. Even though we need to give kudos to all, we still must acknowledge and distinguish the person who did not just deliver is state but went further to deliver some other states within his region to Buhari.
