Funke ‘Jenifa’ Akindele Emerges Running Mate To Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, popularly known and called ‘Jenifa’ has emerged is the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, This was confirmed by multiple sources close to the party’s Governorship Candidate, Olajide Adediran aka Jandor and leadership of the party in the state. Accorded to an impeccable source, Akindele's official presentation would be made public very soon, adding that four major reasons were responsible for her choice as for the position. “She is from Ikorodu and Lagos East Senatorial District like the incumbent Deputy Governor. “She is also from the royal family in the town, while her mother is the immediate younger sister of the current Ayangbunren of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty Kabiru Shotobi, same parents," the source said. The actress was also picked because of her gender as well as her youthfulness. “She’s a female, and she is very young. We’re both gender and youth sensitive in our party,” a party source said. Finally, her popularity among her colleagues in the movie industry was also an added advantage.

Sanwoolu should just go to sleep and order for his inauguration dress for his second term. Even this Jandor fellow knows in his hearts of hearts that he stands no chance and is just wasting peoples time. His choice of deputy speaks volumes. He had every opportunity to pick the sagacious Rhodes Vivour guy but went for this woman with her bag of scandals? Anyways I wish Jandor well on his embarkation of his new role of perennial Lagos gubernatorial candidate. He is a worthy replacement for the former occupier Jimi Agbaje of blessed memory. 2 Likes |
