Quite as expected. Rising costs and stagnant incomes will naturally force some parents to make hard choices of withdrawing one so that the other can continue or withdrawing both or all of their children from school. School fees no be beans. I'd suggest parents enrol their wards in reputable training institutes to tow a career part in skills like welding, plumbing, mechanics and carpentry. It shouldn't cost more than 500k. 1 Like |

Nigeria needs a total relaying of its foundation. We need leaders who will revive productivity, educate our children, especially the girl-child, and create employment opportunities. This will gradually attenuate violent crimes and restore national stability. This is where Peter Obi comes in. Not one agbado commissioner that will turn everyone to thugs on the street 3 Likes

Very bad because any country cannot develop without quality education in all sectors Major causes are lack of funds and security factors It still baffles me that all these are happening and old politicians that suppose to support young and vibrant minds into government are busy buying fighting for sit claiming it's their right not even carrying the interest of people in mind If APC presidential tickets are sold 10billion today , Tinubu and his cohorts are ready to buy them while making cost of living to an average man a hell |

The major cause of this been HUNGER!! Why will children not drop out when the country has been brought so low to the extent these kids are not sure of their next meal? Not even the parents... God help us with a president that would help pilot this country to a better For those who understands Basketball profits.. See the link below https://www.nairaland.com/7169675/ |

Reminds me of Ike Nwosu tenure in Abia then,we go to school by 6am because by 7:45 you gotta be standing erect and singing the national anthem. Between the hrs of 7am -2:30pm,no child of school age should be seen outside if not you will be arrested and your parents will bail you. 1 Like |

The northerners that are educated and in the federal service can hardly speak manageable English and are barely competent, so what is the point producing more of such? They even book is Haram. Imagine knowledge being Haram. |
