I am a core supporter of Tinubu, but honestly; he has fumbled in muslim-muslim ticket. He prefers to listen and please core northerners advicing him to favour muslim-muslim ticket than to listen to sensitivity of multi-religious society in Nigeria. Muslims are known as intolerant people; if you let them taste muslim-muslim ticket like El-Rufai, they will turn it to their right and if you trying to correct them in the future, some of them will form terrorist groups to begin trouble in the name of jihad.

They can never accept christian-christian ticket, but like christians to accept muslim-muslim competence. Who is more competent in term of education if not Christians? Who brought civilization to Muslims in political matters in Nigeria if not Christians in majority? It is better for Christians to waste their votes; absolutely better. Never give what you can't accept; I am sure Tinubu did that out of pressure from northern Nigeria, but let only northern and southern Muslims make president and let Christians waste their votes.

CAN should engage churches in massive sensitisation and whom to direct votes to. It would have been better for Tinubu to choose Christian as running mates; he is already popular in the north, many would have still voted for him from north, but he has gambled. Christians should be ready to waste their votes. According to OP, constitution doesn't forbid it because it is muslim-muslim, but if it were christian-christian, your constitution will forbid it, right?

After Tinubu tenure, another Muslim will be voted in again because it would be northern again to produce president. Tinubu has gambled, Obi is in better position to have a surprise of event; Tinubu has gathered more votes for him unknownly

One thing you should know is that to wrestle power from the north is not a easy task..

So for you to do that ..you need to have a listening ear..

Moreover, maybe you havent heard that there are 3 Muslim candidates and 1 Christain candidate in this election.

By the way, the choice by Tinubu was religious. Tinubu chose the Muslim VP candidate cos he believed that upper northerners would not vote for a ticket with a Christain VP. That is a religious choice.

It is both silllly and hypocritical for you or anyone to gaslight others who what to react to that religion choice, esp if they have legitimate fears due to current happenings.
