Eddygourdo: Maybe you think terrorists are mere kidnappers. These guys price their victims in international currencies, especially the dollar. The affected families either pay or lose their loved ones. I am not sure you have read about international terrorism and kidnapping. This is how they raise funds for arms, transportation and homage. What Nigeria is dealing with has gone beyond local meal. You are looking at a transnational menace. These guys pay homage to their international support groups. That’s why they demand for huge amounts as ransom. The only alternative to not making such huge payments is prisoner swap with government. |
