Reference: I will not rule it out as purely hypothetical. There is a form of truth to all of these explanations, i wont necessarily agree we are an experiment per se, il rather see us as a game being played. There is a character marvel called THE ONE ABOVE ALL, most people who are marvel fanatics do not even know him at all or has he ever been featured but he is the most powerful marvel character and he is able to reset life back to how it should be or the reality he wants it to be. He does not intefere and he only instance of his interference is when life in the whole universe is threatened. Its that bad that even when Thanos did what he did, he still did not interfere. My point is that, that character is God and that even though the comic characters were able to somehow travel across time and space, we are not able to do that. Anyway back to the point your raised, il say that out of all Gods creations we are the most unique to him and this is because of how we were created, in his image and likeness. I do not think another specie has the same form factor as us and even though we have failed from the garden, we are still regarded as special. 1 Like |

Realists:You still believe humans came from one man and woman? Did you do biology in school? If you did, hope you were taught the dangers of incest. Incase it's new to you, go and read about Incest in Alabama, USA and old empires. Make sure you view the photos. 1 Like 1 Share |

Offpoint1: Religion won't be destroyed. It is not afraid of facts. It's humans who have put faith into a straight jacket. God wants this whole thing revealed because then those who refused him on blind faith will the accept him on empirical evidence. Life is too ordered to be a coincidence. And yes, there are beings out there. A simple out of body experience will show you that. Real humans know there are being out there, not far as in far out in space, but far because they are in a different dimension. NASA will find nothing in the physical universe. The CIA already use remote viewing and other metaphysical apparatus to eavesdrop on people all over the world. They know there are other civilizations out there, but are NASA is trying to contact them physically and will fail. 2 Likes |

Ballzproblemm:the first comment spoke against this not knowing all these discoveries are only confirming the existence of God. my question is, can evolution bring about all these wonders we are experiencing and seeing? isn't there a force or power behind evolution? behind every concept is always a brain. these whole about universe and creation is too perfect not to have a perfectionist brain behind it. 2 Likes |

PotatoSalad:Actually believe what? First I'm a Christian. I believe the Bible. However, I'm allowed to speculate provided I don't pass certain boundaries which my faith and reason allow. (I believe these two go, or can go, together) That's the first step to inventions and fact: Speculation-Research-Discovery. You should have asked me how I came to that conclusion. Of course based on the premise that the events took place, which I firmly believe. |

victorjoe:The voyager 1 contains the golden record which has pictures and videos and sounds of things on our planet, with instructions on how to access it for any civilization that finds it. The spacecraft still send data back to earth till date and it takes 19 hours for it to get here. To show you how well done the spacecraft is, it's still on its main equipment and NASA can turn on backup equipment from here if any fails. Funny enough, most of the people that were part of the project are either retired or dead. The spacecraft will continue to fly for eternity, even after all of us are gone. If that doesn't give you existential crisis, I wonder what would. |

PotatoSalad:Reference is right, science is only confirming all Bible has said. The Holy Bible is the realistic experience and dealing of people of past likewise documented by them, like the people of today doing by documenting their findings only the people of the future to come rubbish it with their own findings. |

Eddygourdo: The laws of physics as currently understood rules out at(or faster than) light travel, technological innovation or not. Stasis of small organisms like frogs have been demonstrated in the laboratory setting. Whether this can be scaled up to human sized animals is still an open question. Colonization of Mars could happen within the decade. New ideas in rocketry brings about this possibility. Anywhere further than this planet is still very much a distant dream, the economics and technology is simply not there but please no more talk about super-luminal(faster than light) or even luminal speed capable craft. |

Realists: Genesis 4:15-17 [15]The lord replied, “No, for I will give a sevenfold punishment to anyone who kills you.” Then the lord put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who might try to kill him. [16]So Cain left the lord’s presence and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. [17]Cain had sexual relations with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Then Cain founded a city, which he named Enoch, after his son. ................. People were living in the land of Nob where Cain found his wife. 1 Like |

SpaceMarshall: It is almost a tautology that the ability to travel at super-luminal speeds implies the ability to travel backwards in time and vice versa. What worm-holes give their users is the ability to travel backwards in time and so such objects probably do not exist in nature(and all current research seems to rule out their existence even at the semi-classical gravitational level. It remains for a consistent quantum theory of gravity to answer this question once and for all but it seems extremely unlikely that such a theory will rule in favor of a functional worm-hole). |

PotatoSalad: Pray tell, bend space-time in what way? Any modification of the "near Minkowskian" space-time will actually SLOW travel by increasing the invariant distance and certainly not speed it up. |

safesurfer:Humans are voyagers. Back then, humans moved to different parts of the world without any plans of returning home. These movements caused development of new lifestyle, civilisation and way of life. In linguistics, you'd notice that different languages originated from others. Look at latin. Latin gave birth to French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc. The English language have different variations too. All these changes didn't happen in an instant. It evolved through generations. Look at latin today, it's almost dead. Dictionaries are updated to include new modern words everyday. These things are happening but due to our perception of time, it's as if nothing is happening. 2 Likes |

Alusiizizi:Take a piece of paper and draw two points on both ends, now draw a straight line from one point to another. After that, fold the paper into two so that one point is on top the other. Use a pen to puncture a hole on that point. This is what we need to achieve instead of the former which is traditional space travel since space does not have a top or bottom 1 Like 1 Share |
