*Teamcole in strategic meeting with governorship candidate*.

The leadership of TEAMCOLE, a Pro- APC political pressure group, and garvanising supports for Rivers APC GUBER CANDIDATE, Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni, rose from a meeting on Monday 11/7/2022 with a resolution to adopt a more vigorous and strategic campaigns to win the Saturday 11th March, 2023 gubernatorial election.

The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, was held in PortHarcourt, and presided over by the National Convener of the Team, Hon. Rex David.

Pst. Tonye Cole urged the team to double their efforts at winning the election.

He however, also urged the team not to be discouraged by what is playing out within the party currently .

“ Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni was confident that the APC will do well in the 11th March, 2023 election. He told them that the Presidential, National Assembly and Gubernatorial elections should be taken as a challenge that should move everyone into more serious action to win the next round of elections.”

Hon. Rex David, the National Convener of the Team, who felt very excited when speaking with the Team's Media Crew, described the meeting with the Principal as strategic as the team's leadership is ensuring that no stone is left unturned to launch campaigns that will lead to victory comes 2023.

“With what the party and our team has done, we should be sure of victory in the State. We wish to also assure all our candidates in the 2023 elections that the Team will stand with them, campaign with them and work vigourously to ensure their total victory at the polls.

“We call on our team and other party faithful to remain steadfast in our renewed effort to deliver our flag bearers in the coming elections" Hon. Rex ,said .


According to a statement issued by the DG, Engr. Ogbilikana Joseph Sampson, the meeting with our principal, Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni was part of the team's strategy in relation to 2023 general elections. Though, the closed door meeting which was at the behest of Hon. Rex David, the Team National Convener, centred on how best to achieve the team's objective, which is to enable Tonye Cole and other APC Candidates win their elections come 2023.

"We are grassroots mobilisers and understand the yearning of the electorates across the 23 LGAs in the State. We have consulted and are here to report to our principal .

All LGA Coordinators are here to give their LGA situation reports. We are working with the party and will be teaming up more, now than we had done.

Rivers 2023 is all about Pst. Arc. Tonye Cole, the people have said so and we are here to ensure that this aspiration of Rivers people is achieved".


On his part , High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 of Africa and Coordinator of TeamColekhana LGA, who resisted several attempts by the Team's media crew, finally expressed optimism that the victory song will be sung after Saturday 11th March, 2023. In his words, "it is my conviction that nothing would be difficult for the Rivers APC and TEAMCOLE to accomplish considering our ubiquitous number spread and characteristics. The unity of purpose and command of the Rivers APC leaders on this unique choice of our principal, indicates that he is the right candidate.

In fact, there is a strong feeling that this election must be won to make every Rivers proud. And the only way this prodigious candidate can clinch victory, is for APC stalwarts to sheath their personal interests and project only the collective interest of all Rivers people. I am wholeheartedly convinced that Rivers shall not only smile at the polls in 2023; but will install a government that will take the State to the next level of development".

Mene Zaa, also reinterate the need to always rally around the principal, at this moment and that was part of the reasons we are gathered here today.

Speaking further, the Nyo-khana Political infantry, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, used the medium to appeal for the Team Media to project the image of her principal to Rivers people, willing to build a new Rivers State with the team .

This is why it is obligatory to give expository knowledge to present relevant insights of our 2023 gubernatorial Candidate, so that the people may know him and understand his worth; believing that you wanted him, because you knew him.

Tonye is an illustrious son of kalabari land who practice politics without bitterness. He is most unassuming but highly reassuring, industrious, highly articulate, very humble and a team player".
