Senior Android App developer

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for experienced Android developer to join our team. If you think you have what it takes, we would like to hear from you.

Employment Type: Full time
Location: Akowonjo, Lagos.
Remuneration : N300,000 - N400,000 / Month

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead programmer
* Maintain, Design and build native applications for the Android platform.
* Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance
* Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability
* Maintaining and improving the performance of existing code-base.


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB :
* Extensive experience in building native apps in Android using Java (mandatory)
* Experience with Android and Firebase SDKs
* At least five (5) original Android app published
* Excellent knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs.
* Excellent knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
* Grasp of memory management, multi-threaded programming and background processing.
* Experience with SaaS platforms for mobile development such as Analytics, Push Notifications, Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc.
* Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
* Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
* Sound knowledge of android components (Content providers, Broadcast receivers, services, activities, fragments, UI layouts, Intents ..)

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : OND/HND/B.Sc. or equivalent industry experience.
