Hello All, Can anyone tell me the functionality of Git and GitHub? As I am a developer so I know about GitHub is majorly focused on web hosting and code sharing and according to this source, Git is majorly focused on version control and code conserving. Can anyone tell me the difference between their functionality with the practical example? |

Google would have been your best bet, but since it's here, github provides hosting service for your projects and a means of managing them while git is, like you said, a version control system that makes you track the progress and changes in your code/project. |
