If you are a programmer, you have probably heard of Git and Github.

If you haven't, GIT is a software you can use on your system to create, save and manage backups of whatever project you are working on. GIT repositories are projects that are managed using GIT.

GITHUB is an online service that lets you host GIT repositories... it's like social media for programmers. You can upload projects you are working and share them with the world. It also means you can work with programmers around the world on different projects. You can also get people to contribute to your own projects.

Good day and welcome to my Git and GitHub class. I am Kash, a tech support engineer and web developer.
In this course, I will be teaching you how to implement Git and GitHub in your projects.

You will learn what version control is, and how GIT can be used to manage the various versions of your program. You will learn how to share your projects online, so others can view and collaborate on them with you.

GIT and GITHUB are essential tools for any programmer in today's digital world. I wish you luck as you begin your journey.
PREREQUISITES
You should be comfortable using a computer and the Internet.
Little knowledge of the command line is required. Don't worry if you have never heard of it - the tutorial also contains a guide to the command line.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
A recent version of Windows. This guide was written for Windows users. Linux users might find it useful too.

The best way to know Git to me is to just Git anything, if it shows error, search the error on Google and repeat.

Really? Just Google the error without having an understanding of what Git is? How can you claim you KNOW Git?

Really? How about we start coding same way. When we run the code if it shows an error, google the error and continue

I think I understand what he was trying to say and I agree.

Left for me I'll recommend just learning the basics of git and GitHub i.e init, add, commit, push, pull, clone, create PR and merge conflicts. This can be done in less than 3 days, then if you encounter any errors when using git simply Google the error.

This way you can spend more time learning more relevant things that will fetch you money.
