Paul in 2 cor 11 described false apostles, they came to take advantage of the Corinthian Christians. One of the lessons to be learnt is every Christians must be on guard against false apostles and prophets their aim to take advantage of the ignorant for the selfish desires.

Some of the ways to know a false apostle or pastor are

1. Indulging in sexual immorallities

2 they are focus on materialism, waelity and riches is their gospel.

3. They are proud, raise themselves up.

4 arrogant and do not follow the teachings of the apostles and of christ.

5. They always have elevate wealthy, influential/ powerful people to gain wealth and access to power.

Just like Satan these servants of Satan pretends to be servants of christ, their overall works if for the flesh, boasting and pride of this life and worldly achievements.

Satan who is the enemy of God and all believers in Jesus christ transforms himself to an angel of light in other to decieve the spiritually ignorant person.
Light can mean truth, righteousness anything that is godly.
Satan hardly tells a direct lie, he shrouds it in truths but at the end it all lead to sin and rebellion.

Humans has always being described they should aim to be like God, ( a state of independence from any God) the end is sin and death. Romans 6 vv 23.
