What has been the work of the DSS all these while? Is it not only to chase after the enemies of Buhari and his cabal? Of what use is the DSS to Nigeria? Abeg shift make we see road.

The greatest danger in the choice of Shettima is the deceitful argument that was created to justify it and the implications for our country. Long before the primary, the Tinubu camp had floated the point that Northern Christians are too irrelevant to be on the ticket; and so muslims in Northern Nigeria would never vote for Tinubu if he picked a Christian. This insinuates that Christians are second-class citizens in Northern Nigeria who are not fit to be President or Vice President. The implication here is that the Christian population in Northern Nigeria is subject to insidious discrimination because of their faith. That’s a gross and grotesque violation of the Constitution.

Another implication is that if Tinubu wins, we should expect at least 16 unbroken years of a Muslim-led Presidency. Think of the wider imports of that to the fragility of our federation.

Sorry for average Nigerians in Nigeria

Firstorderwizard:

Nigeria is not America, all candidates have flaws but
before officially unveiling a Muslim-Muslim ticket in today's Nigeria that is religiously polarized .
DSS need to do some underground investigation to ensure it doesn't degenerate to Christian vs Muslim riot or violent protest that may likely threaten national security.
They are yet to issue their clearance hence the reason for the postponement.
However, I'm worried that Presidential documents that are supposed to be heavily classified easily get leaked.
The security system is lagging heavily.
The news channel probably got a glimpse of it and now added pepper and salt to sell their paper

What are the consequences apart from you not voting for him? It's a democracy, simply vote for your preferred candidate instead of having headaches and hallucinations over another candidate. Governance needs to come above ridiculous criteria like religion. If you are looking for work now or booking flights tickets, you don't look for Christian oga or pilot. It's jumbo pay, good work conditions and safety you are after.

No you are wrong there dull head, they (Muslim ) will simply laugh over it but put their thinking cap, quietly mobilise their teaming adherents to vote against it and make the candidates loose, very simple. But Christian will make a disturbing noice as usual but you can be sure that there will be no coordinated plan to curtail whatever they feel is against their interest, that's the difference
