Are the teachings or doctrines bordering on "star" scriptural?

Within the context of how it is being used today by some people out there and here, where can one find such in the Scriptures?


Who initiated such doctrine or teaching?

What prompted or inspired them to espouse such doctrine or teaching from the Scripture?

Where can this star be found? Is it something someone else can touch: as in, is it tangible?

If it is not something someone else can touch, how, then, can stealing it be possible?

Anyone who is knowledgeable in these matters should enlighten us.

When Christ was born. What did the bible tell us the wise men saw. Is it not His star and followed it?

Matthew 2:10-12

10 When the wise men saw the star, they were filled with joy. 11 They came to the house where the child was and saw him with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. They opened their gifts and gave him treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. 12 But God warned the wise men in a dream not to go back to Herod, so they returned to their own country by a different way.
