Jos, Plateau: A CHRISTIAN governor of a predominantly christian state in Nigeria, recently pronounced a ban on TROUSERS for female in the Govt. house & public institutions etc. This flagrant display of christian EXTREMISM was met with the hypocritical christian SILENCE (dem regular trademark) and despite the crusadists ideologically imposing the BIBLICAL LAW (for gender dressing) on everyone irrespective of faith, be it Islam or Atheist. (Imagine a ban on every form of female dressing that's not hijab! Umph! OMG! Did I hear you shout?) Talking about double standard -for which the Christians are known for- the christian dominated media have bee quiet on this one (since it isn't about Muslim sharia etc.) Whither are the Supreme Council on Shariah to oppose this ruling? The blogosphere and forum e.g NL have add their twist to the development. In their usual wave of hand they have subtly insinuated that the bible & the christian faith have nothing to do with the ugly trend. Some have even taken their antics further by laying the blame on sharia or Muslims. What arrogance? When it's Islam banking they went gung-ho! screaming Nigeria is a SECULAR state. Now that it's christian trouser banning they are MUTE DEAF! All of a sudden secularity is no more an issue and Ayo's CAN lost its bawling? Is this the face of Christianity? |

christians and their characteristic self denial? Shameless people. All I need do now is replace every occurence of Christianity with Islam, and they will explode with the frenzy of a sprung cheetah dashing after a bunny rabbit. But on this instance, the cat has got their tongues. The kettle of christianity is always calling Islam's pot black. Yet they are both hypocrites, bigots & troublemakers. Yes they are both troublemakers. The difference is that the christian go looking for trouble with his mouth (his words, utterances) calling muslims names (evil, illiterates, violent etc.), but the muslims are stoic, they lack capacity for motorpack abuses and NL shenanigans. Instead their taciturnity & pent up anger is unfortunately vented rashly, by way of smashing the warmongering but cowardly christians' mouths. Then, they (the christians) scream some more! |
