But are votes still counted manually?
One would think that the INEC Server which is newly introduced would automatically count the votes uploaded electronically from the polling booths into the INEC Server?

They are just announcing what's on the server now....

Like a formal announcement

Don't get it twisted

Tinubu problem is over confidence. He sees himself as God and that is what Nigerians don't want. We don't want another Abacha.
Tinubu is undoubtedly influential but as a political godfather. His influenced started waning the moment he threw his hat in the ring to contest for the seat of the president. Unfortunately, the political godfather and kingmaker wants to be a king and that puts him at the mercy of others. First among the list is Aregbesola, his one-time most trusted ally.

Sanchez01:

You are ruling out the Aregbesola factor here. Man is so bent on messing up Tinubu so bad and this guber loss for Tinubu is only one of them. With Tinubu's reckless utterances over the years in Osun, some of which are being echoed by the electorates recently, EscoBAT will definitely have it rough in Osun in 2023.

Aregbesola is nobody in Osun politics. Aregbesola never won PDP to become governor. Oyinlola got tired of Court case toward the end of his second tenure. Tinubu fought the Court battle for almost 3 years for Aregbesola to rule Osun.

Aregbesola is nobody in Osun Politics.

The only election he narrowly won was because of PDP forceful hijacking of power at Ekiti and Oyinlola and Isiaka Adeleke support. Isiaka Adeleke was a political juggernaut. Oyinlola is Atari Ajanaku. Aregbesola is nobody to these men in Osun Politics. They were the ones that saved Aregbesola in 2014.

Aregbesola cannot win Ijesha / Ife Senatorial election.

Ademola (Isiaka Adeleke in death) disgraced Aregbesola in the Senatorial election and in 2018 as incumbent governor. Adeleke family remained strong at Ede. If Adeleke had gone to APC, the same result would have been repeated.

Aregbesola or Adeoti cannot change Oshogbo voting pattern. A nairaland user (adexii) based at Ife has been giving me the situation on ground since Thursday but I disagreed with him. Now I agreed with him. All what he said about Ife and Ijesha land came to pass.

Aregbesola cannot win Senatorial election of Ijesha / Ife axis. Of what importance is he if he is not valuable at home after 8 years in office.

Anyways, this election seem to be won and lost, a house divided against itself will not stand. Aretola made a big blunder by ousting Aregbe and his guys, thinking Omisore would come in to fill the gap. A former governor is a former governor, and most former governors of Aregba's stature commands 40 to 50k votes or even more.

As close as the election was in 2018, I'd expected Oretola to work on places where the party performed woefully by spoiling them with the dividends of democracy, win more political bigwigs, instead, they lost a gigantic one and won a featherweight politician in return.

I guess the arrogance runs in the family. If Tinubu doesn't control his emotions and watch his utterances and actions, they will hurt him badly come 2023.

Tinubu is undoubtedly influential but as a political godfather. His influenced started waning the moment he threw his hat in the ring to contest for the seat of the president. Unfortunately, the political godfather and kingmaker wants to be a king and that puts him at the mercy of others. First among the list is Aregbesola, his one-time most trusted ally.

you're naive and dumb, if you dont understand something ask and stop forming ignorance

Tinubu and Aregbe started having issues because Oyetola felt he doesn't need Aregbe because of Tinubu, someone that should have just tease him till he get reelected

as a politician, you don't condemned and abandoned anyone until you reach your goals, to me Oyetola, Ambode and others who lost their second bid, wasn't a politicians. in politics everyone is important and that's why Tinubu can never criticize Osibanjo because he might affect his chances in Ogun state and among his stalwarts

politics is very wide and broad than you naive clown contributions here

babaolofin:

I am glad you said someone based in Ife is feeding you with information. I lived in Ife years ago when Omisore was at his best and the likes of Oyinlola were daily news. You can't take away Ede from the Adelekes over the years and it has always be so. Osun's voting pattern is dynamic but you see this current one? It is no coincidence that Aregbe left Nigeria this morning. Wards that were staunch APC wards were lost for the first time since APC took control of the state over 12 years ago or so. Even the incumbent lost the State House.

What marred Aregbe's influence was maladministration but one thing you can't take away from him is his grassroot sagacity. I mean, Omisore is neck deep in this election and acting out the will of the APC. Despite delivering Ife Central, does it not amuse you that in most of the LGs, Oyetola, an incumbent who is related to Tinubu and has Omisore working for him is losing for him on all sides.

Here is Aregbe a few days ago before this election: https://twitter.com/Harwohyehmi1/status/1548403774196031488?s=20&t=TDIngxMYsfaBV85BgJF2mQ

Anyways, the man is here in the US and not in Germany. You might beat down his influence but the ones with the influence are being beaten like konga drums right now.

Your parents, your household, those connected related and associated with you are dumb. You don't even understand the genesis of the Aregbe/Tinubu rift and you exposed your parents terrible influence on you. Idiot.
