Our Client is a Furniture Tech Manufacturing Company, which delivers quality Craftsmanship for bespoke Modern Contemporary Furnishing.

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Factory Operations Manager who possesses practical expertise in the manufacture of Luxury furniture pieces. In this position, you will supervise factory workers and ensure that factory targets are met, ensuring that all production orders are completed in a timely manner. You should also be able to enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

The Role

The Furniture Factory Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating with respect to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to streamline factory operations, screening, recruiting, and training factory workers, and collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes. Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order, analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues, preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers and regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum HND Degree
• A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in furniture manufacturing
• Knowledge of wood products such as lumber and furniture, their functionalities, properties and legal and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Woodworking processes- Steps in the processing of wood for the manufacturing of wooden articles and types of machines used for these processes such as drying, shaping, assembling and surface finishing.
• Fluency in Yoruba Language
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work with proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
• Certification in Production and Inventory Management as well as Quality Control.
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment such as the following

• Outstanding time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.

Role: Full time

Workdays and hours: Mondays- Saturdays ; 8am- 5pm

Remuneration: 200,000 naira only per month (2.4 million per annum) gross
