WHY TONYE COLE IS THE BEST CHOICE , CANDIDATE FOR RIVERS – Mene Zaa 1 of Africa

A former Khana Constituency 11 Rivers House of Assembly aspirant, under the All Progressive Congress (APC) and TeamColekhana LGA Coordinator, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP, Mene Zaa 1 Of Africa, on Thursday said Pst . Arc. Tonye Cole Patrick Mni remained the best candidate for Rivers APC and a best choice for the people of Rivers State.

He made the statement during the extraordinary Leadership meeting of TeamColekhana LGA , held at the Khana APC Party Secretariat , Bori, on Thursday 21/7/2022. The meeting comprised of all LGA Executive Members and ward Coordinators, Secretaries and Woman Leaders.

The Nyo-khana Political infantry General said what the Rivers APC and People needed at this critical moment was a committed, energetic, experienced man to redeem and reposition the state .

The Team Coordinator said Rivers people have not enjoyed dividend of democracy and good governance for the past 7 years under the PDP led state government but will regain such dividends when Tonye Cole wins .

“Our State needs a rescue. Our State needs redemption. Our State deserves a balanced, experienced, tested, trusted and a faithful hand.

"Our State needs a team player and a unifying leadership. Our State needs stability , one that is God fearing and have the people at heart .

“Here and now, I am humbly making a stand and a declaration that we preach more to the candidancy of Tonye Cole for the office of the Governor of our dear state . A man with a vision to serve as a bridge builder, as a peace maker and healer of broken pieces," he said.


Mene Zaa however, said Tonye Cole may not have the answers to all the problems of the state but was prepared to work with others to ensure the restoration of its vision.

Giving more reasons why Cole is the best man for the state, he said ,
" Tonye Cole fully understood the precepts, the mechanisms and constitution of the state and that he knew the ethos, the tradition and culture built by founding fathers.

it's not a time to experiment, let someone that knows come to take over and all Rivers should support his aspiration to governance the state,come 2023 " .

Speaking further, in his remarks, the LGA Coordinator, High Chief Ledum Adonis Deekae JP (Mene Zaa 1 of Africa), thanked God for Successful wards Tour/Assessment and PVC sensitization round the length and breath of Khana LGA. He also appreciated the commitment and contributions of all LGA Executives and ward leaders, stressing that without all hands being on deck, it would not have been possible.

He finally admonished all leaders of TeamCole at all levels in Khana LGA to remain steadfast and resilient as the next government in Rivers State will be formed by the youths who have worked for it.

Also speaking at the meeting , the LGA Secretary, Elder Maxwell Beeaape Nwigogbor adviced all to go home and ensure men and women of their respective wards use this last few days remaining for INEC's CVR to register and get their PVCs ready as that is the only way we can be sure that our principal, pastor Arch Tonye Patrick Cole mni will make it to the brick house come 2023 which is our ultimate goal.

After presenting the progress reports of the team , in his Goodwill message , the LGA Deputy Coordinator , Comr. Nubor Optimist Goteh, said Tonye Cole has the maturity, the experience, the courage to Govern our State . He has a track record of performance. He will deliver,” Comr. Optimist said.

He also described Cole as a performer who would change the fortunes of the State when elected.

“Apart from the fact that he laboured for the party, he is articulate, strong, courageous and energetic, and I can bet Tonye Cole will give the state the best,” Optimist concluded .
