At the 2022 policy meeting, the JAMB REGISTRAR, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, revealed that the percentage of those that scored 200 and above are very low compared to those that scored below 200. 1,761,338 wrote 2022 UTME and only 378,639 scored 200 and above.

Therefore, a resolution was reached at the meeting that every institutions are free to act on or choose their minimum score which they will accept to for admission
