Bandits on Thursday evening reportedly engaged the military in a gun duel at a checkpoint in Zuma Rock Madalla, along the Kaduna-Abuja highway. An eyewitness told Channels Television the attack started at about 8pm. The police and military authorities were not immediately available to respond to the incident. This latest attack on a military installation comes days after bandits attacked a unit of the presidential brigade guards, killing at least three soldiers. Xscape1993: They can't kidnap the president, aso rock is miles away from all this point of attack. I don't think the president in all his 7 years plus has ply those roads since he entered office. He can travel outside the country but doesn't move around the capital that often. They can't even access the aso rock self 1 Like |
