Hello engineers, i make use of samsung galaxy mini that comes with android 2.2.1 froyo. how do i upgrade it to 2.2.3 gingerbread version.

go to SETTINGS - ABOUT PHONE - SOFTWARE UPDATE and manually check to see if theirs an update for your device
NB: you will need an internet connection for this
or
connect to the phone software on your pc via usb and check for an update
