No more manual accreditation? Are you serious?
mrvitalis:

Lol that's with manual accreditation that they manipulate ...check Northern votes 80% are manual accreditation ..while south is less than 20% ...now no more manual accreditation ...so don't expect miracle vote from the north

I read your comment with an open mind until I got to your last paragraph.

That the votes Atiku got from the entire South East were just about tantamount to what Kano state produced, hitherto making the SE region inconsequential, going by your submission.

I am from Cross River state but let me relay a certain advise an elder from Plateau state once gave to me: Should you travel to anywhere within the four cardinal points of Nigeria and don't find an Igbo man within a 100 yards of your residential abode owning a small kiosk or doing a roadside business, pack up your bags and leave that location immediately.

What some of you fail to understand is that the voting strength of the South East is widely spread across the lengths and breadth of the entire country. Igbos are sojourners. So what you consider to be the voting strength of the South West is quite honestly an influx of other tribes, mostly the Igbos. If the Igbos were to conglomerate in their region during elections as is the case during festive celebrations, I promise you, this nonsense you put up there about the South West being the voting strength of the entire Southern region would make you appear unintelligible.

It's largely nauseating the way some of you Nigerians always tend to undermine the relevance of another tribe just to sound politically correct.
exactly what I told my dad yday...you will see Igbos every where , even schooling in the north.... If the south Unite, they will win north hands down without much stress

northern Christian from Nasarrawa, gombe, jos, Borno and Kaduna are voting for Peter Obi. My fear is the presence of PDP in South South and South but this time around we would shock that useless party. as for South West forget the hype about Peter Obi, most of dem would end up selling their vote for Tinubu on election day.
yes o . I represent Kaduna chapter...you will see more Christians in the north than you will see Muslims in the south. Most of us in Kaduna South are Obidients

calculate the number of voters in the North and that in the South, you would get your answer.

A candidate can get 1m+ in the north and his closest rival could get 800k+ or 1m too.

In the south only few states can vote of this.

Also in the North, there is usually no voter apathy like in the south, though I believe it would change in this election.

do you think northern Christians vote along with northern Muslims, we will shock Tinubu next year for insulting us.

Your calculation is one-sided.
The same way North need just a region in South to win is the same way southern votes cannot secure a win without at least two regions from the North.

See it like this, if someone has the whole South votes and another person has the whole north votes, the northern person would win. Infact if someone has the whole South without having NW and NE support, he'll still not win.

Forget south, SW is the only vote power in south. The whole votes SE gave Atiku which is like 90% vote in the last election is just something a state like Kano can cover for one party, so imagine that.
Seconded

This is the bottom-line of the ofege analysis to make the fraudulent scammer president next year, as Thiefnuibu made Bubu in 2015 with his own fake sainthood that has been revealed to be the worst corrupt administration since 1960

Lame wannabe politician, every pte-election year, you come out to seek your stomach infrastructure. No be you again?

WE need your presence in this thread below. Tinubu supporters have dominated the thread and are using it for propaganda. We need more Obi supporters to fight their propaganda. These Tinubu people have really mastered the use of propaganda, with videos and pictures and people are falling for it.

Why did u easily lost yo memory. Go and verify. Kano election never upto the addition of rivers and delta. OP is very right but the success of Obasanjo n Jonathan was due to the north central. Religion in the north central are almost 50-50 of xtians n Muslims. They are diverse ethnic groups in the region. Many Yorubas n xtians in kogi n Kwara. plateau n Benue are majority xtians, etc.

Re: The Misconception About Votes From Northern Nigeria by throwawaywriter: 7:18pm On Aug 01, 2022
Peter Obi needs to get 25% in 24 states and the FCT and also have the highest votes.

Almost impossible for him to score 25% in Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi, Zamfara, Jigawa, Sokoto, Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Kastina,

So there is no way Peter Obi can win.

The best he can do is to split the votes of Atiku.

If he (shockingly) gets highest votes, he would still need to do a rerun because he won't score 25% in 24 or more states.

this election is going to change alot of things, especially views, when you remove the north central states how many core north states remains.
also consider the votes in this core north states. For instance, votes in Kano state almost equals the votes in the five south east states. Votes in Kaduna plus Kano states is more than votes in the five Easter states also, the three "Ks" states namely, Kano, Kaduna and kastina states is almost more than the total votes in the south-south

Pls where do you get your statistics from? I'm a Christian from southern Borno residing in Yobe and schooling in Adamawa, I've been to all the states you listed. Truthfully speaking obi will get some votes there but not like you said, Taraba chirstian voters is not upto even 80%, Some chirstians in Adamawa and Gombe will vote Atiku, the Christian population in Bauchi is very small compared to the Muslims.

Mark this bro.

Obi will get atleast 5 million votes from these states:
1. Kaduna
2. Taraba
3. Adamawa
4. Bauchi
5. Gombe
6. Niger

These are states in the NE and NW, but I tell you from someone who base in the NE that obi will do well there. The Christians in those states who make up 40 percent of voters, save for Taraba where Christians voters is 90 percent see 2023 election as a do or die, they will never vote for a Muslim.[/quote]

how it is going to be shared is a factor.
It will be wrong to think that a candidate will sweep those states alone.
The youths, christians and the elites will swing the 2023 election than expected.
