I think not . They are so desperate to gain audiences that they had to bring the old bbnaija live updates threads from the last 10 years to front page ..the organixerd of this show don't seem to understand the mood in the country.

The youth have suffered, they have been denied jobs, food, wages, normal living standards and yet they think these youths care about this crappy show ?

Some people said that once Big Brother Naija starts, it will take away the attention of the #OBIdient people. Ironically, it is the #OBIdient movement that has completely taken away the people's attention from the BBN show. The only time BBN was discussed was when a housemate wore an #OBIdient shirt some days ago.

The only news story that has displaced #PeterObi temporarily has been the world record broken by Tobi Amusan in 100m hurdles some days ago. Even the congratulatory message sent by Obi to her was a traffic puller.

Newspapers have realized that when they write on other topics, they get some hundred comments. If the topic is popular, they can get up to one or two thousand comments. But if it is on #PeterObi, the comments go over 5,000 and continue rising.

TV stations also know that any time their topic is Peter Obi, their viewership rises sharply.
