Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel, earlier today led his executive council members on an inspection visit of the ongoing International Worship Center located within the Uyo metropolis.

The project billed for commissioning by first quarter of next year, is handled by Julius Berger and will accommodate 5,000 worshippers.

So beautiful. The National Mosque in Abuja is magnificent and celebrated around the continent for its architectural and religious significance. Same thing with the Central mosque in Kano. So what's less important with building a worship center for Christians in a predominantly Christian state. Whether built with private or public funds, what's the difference? Those that are saying this is a waste are probably not Christians or understand the significance of a worship center. Go to the UAE and see what their ruler did, since you've probably not heard. Baba built a worship center for Christians, a Muslim oo.
