Lessons learnt. You should have have asked for the check in your name madam. Too bad. Get the police involved immediately. Visit your husband's former work place and get them to explain better to a pro Bono lawyer.

Sorry madam, your husband would have saved you a lot of stress if he had open an education plan for your lovely kids or any other life assurance policy. The money would have been divided into two, part for your upper and to start up something while the other part for the education of your kids which should be taken care of by the insurance company like my company every term or per session.
